This is one of the very FIRST pictures of newlywed Kate Middleton's wedding gown as she exited the queens Rolls Royce and greeted the crowd the awaited her outside of Westminster Abbey minutes ago. This dress design is accredited to Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, although there have been allegations that this was from an early collection of McQueen himself. This dress is absolutely gorgeous and fits Kate's small physique perfectly. She has definitely set her place as possible fashion icon this early April 29, 2011 morning.

Princess Diana's Gown
Kate is often compared to the late, great, Princess Diana (William's mom). The comparisons go beyond her work and service, but also to their style. Princess Diana is known for her cutting edge style and the effortless look she carried. Her wedding gown is still and main topic, especially with her son's wedding approaching. . .
Her dress designed by amateur designers at the time, Elizabeth and David Emmanuel, accentuated her very small waist and featured a 25ft long traing, the longest yet. This wedding dress has yet to be topped in relation to style, chicness, and appropriateness considering all of the stipulations a bride has to consider when marrying into the royal family.
After the royal wedding of 1981, bridal boutiques everywhere were flocked with designs inspired by Princess Diana's gown. Today designers are pressed to have designs out by as near as the next day after the wedding because they know that style will be a hit. I am anxious to see what Kate Middleton will wear.
Watching the Royal Wedding...
Tonight I went to the club then the diner, but as I ate I could not stop thinking about the royal wedding. As soon as I got in (at 4:30am), as sleepy as I am, I tuned to watch. This is the wedding of the century and will affect many countries since William is the heir to the throne. I find it absolutely astonishing how he went about everything over the past decade, as far as dating someone outside of the aristocracy and actually marrying for love.
I am most excited to see Kate's gown, which has been kept very secret, because her style is very simple and chic. Just as with her late mother in-law, designers have been scrambling to make the perfect design for her gown. Rumor has it Alexander McQueen creative director, Sarah Burton, will be designing Kate Middleton's gown. I would definitely like to see Kate step out of her shell and where something accepted yet still unexpected.

Walker v. Lita
Since my last post, I have come across something that will be very interesting for the fashionistas on a budget. Their an exact replica of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita and are a lot lighter on the wallet. Unlike Lita, Walker is faux leather and the heel is slightly lower, just slightly though. If you want to save but love the style of the Lita then this is the perfect boot for you.
Meet the Walker WP boots by Bakers shoes.

Jeffrey Campbell Lita
Renown blogger Rumi Neely rocking the Taupe Suede Lita These boots have been rocking the blogger world since they debuted last fall. They were the must have then, and they are the must have now. These boots go great with jeans, dresses, and everything else imaginable. |
The chunky heel, which is a huge trend this Spring/ Summer '11 season, makes them perfect for the summer. They come in multiple texture like suede, leather, velvet, and even pony hair; how awesome is that?! |
I've wanted them for a while but they are almost always sold out. They come in almost every color and that has to be the hardest decision to make. At one point I wanted distressed mustard, then tapestry print, now I am feeling the taupe suede or even red leather. I am still unsure of which ones to get because I would want to wear them regularly and that is where the taupe would be super practical, but a bright color or bold print would really make the shoe a statement piece.

Lil' Wayne Concert After Party!
Being as small as I am, it is usually kind of difficult for me to find things to wear to go clubbing. I love bustier dresses that have the tulle bottom but they usually make me look somewhat kiddy. I also like draped dresses but those have a habit of making me appear skinnier than I am. I usually resort to a form fitting dress to assure that I look fab and of course look my age lol.
I wore this tribal print American Apparel dress in red with the mustard colored Pumpkin pumps by Asos and my vintage Fendi sling purse.
I kept my make-up very simple wearing very sheer layers of Mac bronzer, Covergirl blush, and my new favorite lipstick, Viva Glam GaGa II by Mac. My jewelry was just some pink stone studs by H&M and a metal necklace that I doubled by Express.
P.S. All of these pictures were taken on my iPhone =/

Alexander McQueen - Fall Winter 2011/2012 Full Fashion Show (Exclusive)
When I saw this collection I was absolutely in lust. I love everything about it, from the cinched waist, to the pleats, and haute detailing right down to the shoes.
Alexander McQueen designer Sara Burton is far from disappointing to fans of the late designer's funky line. Rumor has it, she may the designer of Kate Middleton's wedding gown for the royal wedding. No official information has been released yet, but Burton is definitely making her mark in the fashion world.
Like are you serious?! Look at these designs! The detailing, trimming, and stitching are all so precise. The textures clash perfectly! Any girl's dream. I would love to own any of these pieces.

Meet Jezebel!
I have died and gone to shoe heaven! Very similar to the peanut crunchy bootie Kandee Shoes released during the fall, the Jezebel bootie is a taste of animal print bootie heaven. The boots run for $354 on the brand's site, and would a great addition to any shoe collection. It's beautiful pony hair texture is contrasted with golden studs and a lavender tassel. The lavender sole of the bootie is also a great catch. I love these booties and as soon as I save up enough, THEY WILL BE MINE =).
